This group normally hold two field trips each month, on the first Monday and third Wednesday of the month.

We will be studying birds in a variety of habitats and at different times of year, through walks and field trips to reserves, local and afar, primarily to improve members’ bird recognition but also studying habitat and bird-song, and photoing where possible.

Members bird-recognition skills vary greatly, some expert, some novices. All are welcome.

All group communications are carried out by email. A mobile phone is also an important aid to contact whilst on field trips.

We travel to venues by car. Lifts may be available but cannot be guaranteed.

Advance booking is essential for all trips.
