This is a friendly group whose members enjoy lunch and a chat, or stroll, (hopefully both) at interesting venues, canal-side pubs, garden and craft centres. We like to try unusual cuisine and food from different countries. We also enjoy going to local Food colleges; for instance Birmingham College of Food (See photo right) does a delicious 3 course lunch, which is reasonably priced because students need to learn. Once you are on the mailing list you will be notified where our monthly lunch events will be. Lifts can usually be arranged and venue suggestions are always welcome.

With the current cost of living we are attempting to make some of our outings a little less expensive; thereby more accessible to everyone. We are starting Morning Coffee and Tea Afternoon events. This is an ideal opportunity to get involved with KN u3a, helping to organise these outings. We need hosts, if we are to add these extra outings. Let us know about a cafe you like, a suitable date and am/pm time you can sit, to welcome members and chat for 1 1/2 hours. We can book the event, advertise it for you. Your part will be to introduce yourself to the cafe owner, make sure there are tables for us, welcome members, note their names, take photos and chat for the duration. Let us know if you can help?
